COMPANY HISTORY
The company is based
in Mossel Bay, a city in the famous Garden Route of South
Africa in the beautiful province of the Western Cape. From a
solely owned and operated business, it has grown into an
organisation that employs a number of highly skilled
individuals specializing in the various fields of our
business. We believe in a relaxed work environment that
stimulates innovation, creativity and productivity.
In February 2003
eXITe Computers was formed as an one man IT Service
company that specialized in all IT Services, From humble
beginnings as a business that was operated from home, the
company expanded its business ventures to IT Business
Contracting and Support.
During the last
quarter of 2005 the idea of a company that can offer a
complete integrated service to our customers was born.
During the planning phase of the new division we realized
that we have a great opportunity not only to turn a small
company into a profitable organisation, but also to create a
company that can play a big role in the development of
businesses in the Southern Cape. We started with market
research into other areas of the region and had a tremendous
interest in our products and services.
As a result of
growing interest in our work and the natural progression of
the nature of our business, the company saw the opportunity
to open a retail shop in central Mossel Bay and to launch a
new division Graphic Designing in the business to help and
promote IT sales and support and to supply an all IT Need’s
Service to other businesses in the Southern Cape., through
the integration of top quality and affordable products and
services. We found that the biggest challenge was not to
supply quality and affordable products to our clients, but
to implement and audit our clients to ensure they get the
right solution for their business.
A new Company was
registered - eXITe Computers and Designing cc and we
welcomed 2 new members to the Team, To look after Sales &
Accounts, and the new integrated Repair and Service
Workshop.
Within only one
year, we had to move to a bigger location, to accommodate
all the customer and service requirements, which is also our
current location in Voorbaai. The demand for our services
was so well received, we employed 2 additional technicians
to the team, in total we now have access to over 40 years of
combined experience which include highly certified personnel
with Microsoft Certified Systems engineer – Microsoft
Certified professional, A+, N+, Azonics US Certified, HP
and Dell qualified service technicians.
A few highlights in
the history of our company marks of the successful growth of
the company, and include the following:

eXITe
Computers was founded on the 23rd of
February 2003, in Dana Bay (Mossel Bay) and started off
as a one man IT Service Company, operated from home and
servicing Mossel Bay and surrounding areas.

In January 2005
eXITe Computers launched its first walk-in
service centre, which was a milestone for our company in
the sense that we were amongst the key players of the
local industry. This was a big step forward for our
company, and placed us amongst the leaders in our field
as far as new technologies of the time was concerned.

In March 2006 ,
after intense market research, we decided to add another
division to the company to accommodate Graphic Design
Services. This enabled us to offer an extensive range of
Design and Print services to our customers, which
include Logo's, Business Cards, Brochures, Printed
Stationery, Posters, Signs, Vinyl Stickers, Digital
Prints, Websites and Electronic Media.

In July 2007
eXITe Computers and Designing cc moved into their
new premises. This was really the culmination of four
years of hard work and opened up many avenues for our
company.

Our first web
site was officially launched on the 10th of
December 2007. This was a proud day for all our staff
members, and the sense of achievement and excitement for
the future only motivated us even more to build on the
hard work and long hours that made that day possible.

During the last
2 years, we have extended our product range and have
tied up with several international and local service
partners, which include Dell South Africa,
Deep Blue Mobile, Gigacore International,
HP Select, eTime, Nexus, Hetzner,
and most recently Poynting Direct.
In summary, the growth of our company is directly attributed
to the dedication and hard work of all the staff members of
eXITe Computers and Designing. These individuals form
the underlying backbone of our business and, with a united
vision of the future of the company, will continue to build
and expand on our success. |
