This address is called a Domain Name,
which is a unique name that identifies a web site on

Top Level Domain Registrations
com - typically used for commercial web
sites
net - typically used for networks (ISP’s, Intranets,
etc.)
org - typically used for non-commercial
organisations
info - typically used for information web sites
biz - alternative for .com domain names reserved
for businesses
Country Specific Domain Registrations
co.xx - any domain name that ends
with .co and then directly followed by the
two-letter ISO Country Code, for example .co.za,
which is the domain suffix for South Africa. |
